Lilacs...My favorite Flower!
These lilacs are in my backyard...I have around 6 very large bushes of them...And they are NOW in full bloom!! The problem with lilacs is that they do not spend much time in bloom, but the beauty of them and the so green foliage is breath taking...and the smell...OH MY!! Until they have a smell sensor on this machine...you will only be able to imagine the sweetness that surrounds me when I am outside. I love SPRING...the renewal of life...the sweetness of the air...the smell of freshly mowed grass...the joy that this season brings....and the kiss of the lilac bushes that bloom just for me in my own backyard! LIFE IS GOOD!

Oh yeah Pattie...I just went to our Lilac Festival in Lombard, IL a few weeks ago; held at Lilacia Park..filled with different kinds of lilac trees & bushes.. They were my mom's favorite too..and one of mine now too. I took pics and they look at lot like these!

Lilacs, just the site of them relaxes me.
