Bloom

Forgot to post this piece for the swap yesterday...It is titled Bloom...and I did it because it was my son's birthday yesterday and he totally blooms for me! He is such a huge joy in my life always with a ready smile and a loving bear hug! My son, Jason is 32 now and I just can't believe that he is all grown up, because in my eyes I still see that wonderful little boy who delighted me...because, he still is delighting me!!

Hi Patti,
I know I keep posting but each day I log onto your blog and I see a new piece (which thank goodness is almost everyday) I get filled with a sense of warmth and I smile.
Your subject matter when I break it down is so simplenad yet everypiece is so new and exciting.
I can't remember what swap you are refering to. Could you refresh my memory? I'm curious and would like to check it out.

Let me know when you become a presenter at a retreat. I would love to be there.

Thanks for your creativity and inspiration.

Colorfully grateful.

Lori..
How sweet are you?!?! Thank you so much for being here and posting every day...most people "lurk" ..nothing wrong with that, but I do so love to know that I have connected!!
The swap is a personal swap I am doing with a group called 31 days of art, where we do a single 6 by 6 inch piece of anything we want...I have been into doodling random designs and then painting with different mediums..a little freer with my style than usual and different color themes.
RETREATS: Well, although I have applied to be a presenter at several retreats...I am not a "NATIONALLY" known artist...so...I was first upset, but now I am taking things a step in a different way...So you never know!! Also, I am discovering that I am "NATIONALLY" known in my mind!! LOL...there are pieces of my art in almost every state in the US and now in Europe...so how much more nationally do I need to be?!?! And heck you know me Lori...where do you live??? Can I add another state to the list!! LOL

Hi Pattie,
I only have a minute. Real busy at work but I wanted to send you a quick reply. I live in Massachusetts. About half hour north west of boston.

Oh and by the way I love the photos from yesterday and today.

Have a great weekend. Can't wait to see what you do next week.

Cheers
Lori
